Who are you when no one is clapping?

Reader,

TEDx wrapped this week.🙌🏽

And while the stage was powerful, the part that stayed with me wasn't the applause.

It was what came after.

The conversations that happened when the microphones were off.

The questions leaders asked when nobody was watching.

The real talk about who they are when the external validation goes quiet.

Because here's what I've been thinking about:

We're living in a season where visibility has become the new measure of value.

And honestly? We're all feeling the weight of it.

Are you showing up for fame or for leadership?

Who are you when no one is liking, commenting, or singing your praises?

I've had to ask myself this question more times than I can count. Especially working with leaders who second-guess themselves because their follower count doesn't match the rooms they lead.

That's what inspired After The Stage.

April 9 — a curated evening for women leaders who are clear about who they are when the applause fades. Who are building authority that doesn't depend on a standing ovation.

Wine. Conversation. The kind of dialogue that happens when leaders get honest about visibility, positioning, and what real influence looks like beyond the metrics.

If this sounds like where you need to be, I'd love to have you there.

Seats are limited by design — this isn't a crowd.

It's a conversation.

P.S. — This isn't about performing. It's about showing up as the leader you already are, whether anyone's watching or not.

Reader, Real talk. Last few days of the quarter. And let me guess — you're feeling stressed. Overwhelmed. Lagging a bit. Here's what I need you to hear: You're not behind. Your time is just being spent in the wrong places. Most consultants aren't failing because they lack ideas or strategy. They're stuck because hours disappear into content creation, inbox management, and repetitive admin work that should take minutes — not half your day. You already know what needs to happen. You can see the...

Hey Heyyy Reader, Let me tell you what I’ve watched play out over in the last 12 months. A consultant decides it’s finally time to get serious about their visibility. They invest in AI tools — the good ones. They build a content system. They start showing up consistently across platforms. The output is cranking. The content calendar is full. And three months in, they message me some version of: “I’m doing all the things. Why isn’t it working?” Here’s what I tell them: AI can write your...

TGIF Reader, Can I be honest with you for a second? When I started pulling together the guest list for After the Stage, I wasn’t just thinking about filling seats. I was thinking about WHO needs to be in the room. The women who are doing the work but questioning if they’re being seen for it. The leaders who are expanding their influence but wondering if they’re doing it right. The founders who know they’re onto something — but haven’t found THEIR people yet. That’s YOU. And the room is...
